Commissioner for Home Affairs, Information and Culture, Wakili Sarki, told journalists in Damaturu that the state’s executive council has approved the release of N72, 260,000 for the procurement of air tickets and visas for the intending pilgrims.
He said Skynet International Travels and Tours have been contracted to facilitate all travelling arrangements.
Weekly Trust recalls that the Yobe State Pilgrims Commission had earlier this year, secured about 3,000 hajj seats for intending pilgrims from the state.
