Yobe recruits 228 medical practitioners

The Yobe State Government has engaged an additional 228 doctors, consultants and other professional medicalworkers to staff the newly established Yobe University Teaching Hospital (YSUTH), Damaturu. The state government had, in the first phase of recruitment, hired 158 doctors, nurses, and other staff for the new teaching hospital.

According to a statement issued by the Director of Press Affairs in the Office of the Governor, the general hospitals in Gaidam, Gashua and Potiskum which are presently undergoing renovation and expansion will be equipped upon the completion of their refurbishment and extension.
