Yobe market association, IPAC endorse Mai-mala as guber candidate in Yobe

The Interparty Advisory Council (IPAC) and United Marketers Association Yobe South senatorial zone has endorsed the gubernatorial aspiration of the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Alhaji Maimala Buni in Yobe state.
Fielding question from newsmen in Damaturu, Kukuri said the decision was about the collective fate and future of citizens even when they do not belong to the ruling APC in the state. 
“So far, there are no governorship aspirants in other political parties in Yobe except APC, we have carefully sieved the APC aspirants to arrive at supporting Maimala for the governorship.
“We are all stakeholders and we have carefully gauged all the aspirants and arrived at supporting the aspiration of Maimala for continuity in the achievements recorded in healthcare delivery, education, road network and agriculture among others” he said.

He explained that the councils stand was inspired by the collective decision of the APC stakeholders to nominate Maimala as the preferred aspirant.

The zonal chairman of the association, Alhaji Isa Adamu, said they resolved to adopt the national secretary due to his competence, better understanding of the state and his potential to continue with the development projects initiated by the Ibrahim Gaidam administration.
Alhaji Isa said the association had over the years been taking a united position based on the competence of individual candidates.

“The association in 2011 and 2015 introduced this measure of a united front to adopt the most competent candidate, we forget our political differences and adopt  the best candidate with the potentials to improve our lives, this time we adopted Maimala as our governorship candidate” he said.
