Yobe inaugurates transition committee

Yobe State government has inaugurated 18 member transition committee to prepare and plan the successful handover and swearing-in on May 29, 2019.
The committee, headed by Yobe state deputy governor, Engr Abubakar D. Aliyu as chairman, has 18 members that include the deputy governor-elect, Alhaji Idi Gubana as vice chairman and Alhaji Baba Muhammed as the secretary.
Speaking during the inauguration on Wednesday in Damaturu, the committee chairman noted that  the members were carefully selected to ensure successful transition. 
 
“We are gathered here today to as a State Steering Committee for the inauguration and swearing-in of Government-elec Alhaji Mai-Mala Buni and his Deputy-elec Alhaji Idi Gubana come May, 29.”
“For this reason the governor deemed it fit to carefully selected and appointed us as members of the committee to make a successful transition process”, he said.
Aliyu also observed that dedication and positive contribution of the members would determine the success of the committee.
