One of 2019 All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirants in Yobe State, Dr Aji Kolomi, has resigned his membership of the party.
Kolomi, who confirmed his resignation to our reporter on Tuesday, said it was out of personal conviction.

In a letter addressed to his ward chairman, Kolomi said his membership had ceased from Monday.
“I wish to extend my appreciation to you and the entire party executive for according me all the necessary support during the course of my aspiration for the 2019 governorship primaries, at such I remain grateful,” he stated in the letter.
Ajiko, who hails from Gujba, the same local government as Governor Mai Mala Buni, said his next move regarding his party of choice would be announced shortly.
