A Kogi State high court sitting in Lokoja has sentenced a 23-year-old man, Yusuf Salawu, from Okene LGA to five years imprisonment without option of fine for controlling proceeds of crime.
The charge was preferred against him by the Ilorin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Justice Josiah Majebi found Yusuf guilty of the one- count charge.
In his judgement, Justice Majebi who decried youths’ involvement in cybercrime, warned them to desist from the act as the consequences were dire.
