Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, Thursday, congratulated Amb. Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli on his appointment as the 19th Emir of Zazzau by the governor of Kaduna State, Nasir el-Rufai.
Bello, in a congratulatory message by his Chief Press Secretary, Onogwu Muhammed, felicitated with the Zazzau Emirate as well as the government and the people of Kaduna State on this historic moment in the annals of the emirate.
He said the appointment of the new emir, after serving the emirate as Magajin Garin Zazzau, was no doubt well deserved.
He implored the new emir to continue to promote and consolidate on the legacies of peace, unity, brotherhood and harmonious coexistence which the late emir, Alhaji Shehu Idris, bequeathed to the emirate.
Similarly, Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Ahmed Idris Wase, Thursday, called on the new Emir of Zazzau to build on the legacies of his forefathers by upholding the sanctity of the throne and the traditional institution.
Wase made the call in a massage by his Chief Press Secretary, Umar Mohammed Puma, congratulating the emir on his ascension to the throne as the 19th Emir of Zazzau.
