World Leagues Forum salutes Dikko on new mandate

The World League Forum WLF has sent a goodwill message to the Chairman of the Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL /League Management Company, Mallam Shehu Dikko on his new mandate to lead the Nigeria apex League for the next four years.

In a congratulatory message to the Nigeria League boss via a letter dated 8th April 2019 and signed by the chairman of the World League Forum, Christian Seifert and the two vice chairmen Enrique Bonilla and Don Garber respectively, the global football league forum described Dikko’s return as a good testimony, appreciation and trust for good job.

“Your endorsement is testimony to the appreciation of the work which you have undertaken and the trust placed in you to tackle the challenges ahead for Nigeria Professional football,” it said.

The Forum further said that, “WLF is also proud to count you as an active member and wants to emphasize the achievements accomplished at World level, thanks to your involvement in the forum and as a representative of professional Leagues in the FIFA football stakeholders Committee.”

Why expressing appreciation to Dikko’s contributions and efforts to the various topics that enhance the success of professional football in Nigeria and the worldwide, the forum say it looks forward to a more fruitful cooperation with the Nigerian football administrator in the coming years.

The Extraordinary General Meeting of the Nigeria Professional Football League clubs held recently in Lagos unanimously endorsed Dikko for another term of four years in line with the governing structure of the NPFL.
