The Director-General of the National Centre for Women Development, Mary Ekpere-Eta, on Thursday said rapists should be prosecuted and jailed.
Ekpre-Eta condemned the spike in cases of rape of women across the country.
She said aside from worrying data showing that one in four girls and one in ten boys had experienced sexual violence before the age of 18, there had been recent reports of women killed after being sexually assaulted.
