According to a neighbour, she started hearing the voices of the deceased and Bola Ibikunle at midnight and before she could came out to know what issue was, Nojeem was already dead.

Oodua Trust learnt that there had been an exchange of money between the deceased and the female suspect before that day. The issue had been causing a lot of problems between the two occupants before it turned into a fight.

 Bola, who was holding a knife during the fight, stabbed him to death before those around could make any attempt at rushing him to the hospital.

Oodua Trust learnt from the police spokesperson Frank Mba that the suspect was in police custody while the case was still under investigation.

The 26-year-old deceased body has, however, been deposited in a public mortuary in Lagos for autopsy.

In a related vein, one pedestrian named Semiu Yusuf was knocked down by an unknown motorist last Thursday.

The incident, which happened around 9.15pm, saw the victim who was walking very close to the Ojota footbridge along Ikorodu Road. An eye-witness, who spoke to Oodua Trust, said the deceased was crushed by the motorist while walking towards Ikorodu.

According to the eye-witness, immediately the incident happened, the driver of the vehicle sped off from the scene.

When Oodua Trust visited the scene, men from the Ogudu Police station were seen carrying out an investigation. The body of the victim had already been removed to the public mortuary.
