An 18-year-old woman, Waliyah, has been recovered dead from a well in
Ile-Olodo in Ilorin West LGA of Kwara State.
Our correspondent gathered that the victim jumped into the well shortly after a friendly conversation with neighbours.
Spokesman of the state’s fire service, Hassan Hakeem Adekunle, who confirmed the incident on Wednesday, said the corpse was handed over to the Magaji of Ile-Olodo, Alhaji Adisa Akanbi.
Similarly, Adekunle said that the service also recovered the corpse of a man from a river in the Amilengbe area of Ilọrin.
He said, “The deceased was approximately 43 years of age and was handed over to a team of police officers from the ‘A’ Division, Ilọrin.”
