Woman files for divorce over lack of attention

A woman has filed for divorce from her husband at a Kano Shari’a Court No. 1 Kofar Kudu over lack of attention.

She also told the court that her husband had failed to feed her and that he has ‘refused’ to bear children with her.

The husband, however, denied the allegations, saying that his wife denied him intimacy and turned her back on him since his return from Saudi Arabia because he refused to spend lavishly on her.

He demanded the sum of N2millon before the separation.

The Khadi, Shamsuddeen Ado Abdullahi Unguwar Gini, adjourned the case till March 7 for continuation.
