A woman lost her life Friday in a fatal car accident on the Gbongan/Ibadan expressway.
The accident involved a hash colour Toyota Corolla car with the registration number FKJ627EY and a white DAF Truck with the registration number XC606MKA.

Three children and two male adults sustained injuries in the accident and they were rushed to hospital.
The operatives of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Osun State Sector command, men of the Nigerian Police Force and the Osun Ambulance Services rescued the victims and cleared the road.
The FRSC Sector Commander, Mrs Kudirat Ibrahim, confirmed the incident.
She spoke through the Corps Public Relations Officer in the state, Mrs Agnes Ogungbemi.
She noted that the accident was as a result of lost of control and that the crash would have been averted if the vehicles were not over-speeding.
According to her, “The three children who sustained minor injury and shock were given first aid by the Osun Ambulance team.”
“The woman was taken to OAU Teaching Hospital, Ile-Ife by our rescue team.
“The woman was confirmed dead by the doctor at the hospital,” the FRSC boss said.
She said all items found in the vehicles including a black bag containing some personal effects, a brown suitcase, food items and a black purse containing a driver’s licence, First Bank ATM card and a sum of N18,610 were handed over to policemen in Ikire.
