Tragedy struck Thursday night as a hit-and-run vehicle killed a middle-aged woman in Osogbo, Osun State capital.
The accident happened a few metres after the bridge on the Gbodofan River at Makson area along Ogooluwa at about 9:40 pm.
It was gathered that the victim, identified as Mrs. Agboola, came to Ayoni Cherubim and Seraphim Movement church for crossover night service.

Eyewitnesses said she was already in the church but later came out to the main road when she was hit by an oncoming vehicle and died instantly.
Officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps and Nigeria Police Force were on hand at the scene to remove the corpse from the road.
The body was later moved in a Federal Road Safety Corps vehicle to the mortuary.
