A woman and her two children have appeared before a Kano Shari’a Court sitting in Rijiyar Lemo over witchcraft allegations.
They were brought to the court by their neighbour who claimed that her children were being discriminated against in the neighbourhood as a result of the allegation labelled against her by the defendants.

The defendants were charged with conspiracy to commit a crime and defamation of character to which they pleaded not guilty.

The Khadi, Umar Sanusi Danbaba, adjourned the case to December 3 for witness testimony and granted bail to the accused.
