Woman arraigned for calling neighbours witches

A housewife in Bwari Area Council of the FCT was on Friday arraigned before an area court in Bwari town for accusing a couple of witchcraft.

A prosecution witness and husband of the abused woman, Mr Chukuma Clinton, told the court that the accused, Patience Damilola, used to assault his wife, that she was barren and that he was a wizard.

He further said the defendant equally accused him of being responsible for the deaths of two of their neighbours through witchcraft and the sickness of another.
