Woman arraigned for beating lover

The Lagos State Police Command has arraigned a 37-year-old woman, Laifa Okun, before an Ejigbo magistrates’ court for beating up her lover and inflicting injuries on him.

The prosecutor, Benedict Aigbokhan, who told the court that the lovers resided in the same compound on Amodu Fagbohun Street, Igando, Lagos, said, “Apart from injuring the victim, Oyin, she also smashed his mobile phone.

The Magistrate, Mrs K A Ariyo, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum and adjourned.
