A mother, Hauwa Umara, who was abducted alongside her daughter  in Ngurore of Yola South Local Government Area, Adanawa State, last Sunday escaped from the den of their abductors.

Kidnappers, who attacked Ngurore police station, had abducted Hauwa and her daughter at a nearby house.

The image-maker of the Adamawa Police command, DSP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, confirmed to Daily Trust that Hauwa and daughter have escaped from their  kidnappers.

Ngurije said the police and members of the vigilantes gave a hot chase to the kidnappers and while escaping, the kidnappers abandoned their victims.
