Warri Wolves youngster, Daniel Agwaza jnr has assured that the Nigeria Professional Football League side will fight till the final day to keep its place in the topflight.

Warri Wolves who occupy 16th position on the table with 27 points out of a possible 75 are faced with relegation.

They have won only seven, drawn six and lost 12 matches out of 25 matches played so far.

Last Sunday, Wolves edged fellow relegation threatened side, Sunshine Stars 2-1 in Ozoro to keep hope of survival alive.

Next for them is a trip to Lafia where they are billed to face title contenders, Nasarawa United in Thursday’s week 26 fixture.

Although it promises to be a tough one for Wolves, Agwaza is confident his side will give Nasarawa United a run for their money.

“We are in a tight position on the table but we wil fight till the final day. Personally, I believe we are going to survive relegation. My team mates also share in my optimism so we would continue to fight.

“Surely, we have a difficult task before us but we will give it our best shot,” said the former Yobe Stars player.
