Wolves test might against Enyimba in pre-season friendly

Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, campaigners, Warri Wolves will test their might against former NPFL and CAF Champions, Enyimba of Aba in a blockbuster Pre Season friendly game to be played on Friday at the Delta State Polytechnic Stadium in Ozoro.

The Chief Executive Officer of Warri Wolves, Etu Moses in a statement issued on Tuesday said the Seasiders as Wolves are popularly called will use the warm up encounter to put finishing touches to some of the gains recorded in the club’s preparations for the 2020/2021 NPFL season.

Moses, an astute football administrator described Enyimba also called ‘the Peoples’ Elephants’ as a traditional and quality side in domestic football in Nigeria, noting that Enyimba’s recent exploits across the two-legged match against Rahimo FC of Burkina Faso in the CAF Champions’ League underscores the credentials of the former African champions.

The oil city club were recently involved heavily in the 2020 Governor Dapo Abiodun Pre Season Soccer Tournament in Ijebu-Ode.

It will also be recalled that immediately after they left the city of Ijebu-Ode, Warri Wolves went into closed campaigning from where they will take on the NPFL heavyweights in the Friday pre-season friendly match.
