Nigerian hip hop performer, Ladipo Eso, has said Afrobeats sensation, Wizkid, does not inspire him musically.
Ladipoe said this while responding to a fan’s question on Twitter.
The Mavin Records artiste noted that while Wizkid does not influence him musically, he is inspired by the ‘Joro’ singer’s demeanour and business wit.
It all started with the rapper tweeting, “RnB inspired me just as much as Hip Hop did”
A fan with the account @_okikiola_1 then asked, “So basically, Wizkid is one of the people who inspired you.”
In response, Ladipoe stated: “Musically no. Persona and commercial acumen, definitely.”
Another Twitter user, @Bankz_12345, added: 😂😂😂 how mid win inspire person.
In response, the Ladipoe said: “Wiz is not mid”
