Three young Nigerians yesterday became millionaires at the end of the Fidelity Bank’s “Get Alert in Millions Saving Promo” in Abuja.

The winners received alerts worth N8 million from the bank as grand prizes of the promo. The star prize winner, Salman Musa, a businessman won N 5 million, Peter Iboro, a staff of the National Council for Arts and Culture,  runner up, received N2million and the second runner up, Rahama Tahir, Corp Doctor, got N1 million.

Presenting the prizes, Deputy Managing Director, Fidelity Bank Plc, Mohammed Balarabe said the presentation of the prizes was a clear indication that the bank is committed to its promises. 

He said the promo, is a way of giving back to the bank’s customers, as well as relieving the cash constraint facing most Nigerians at this period of recession. He said the promo which started in August will continue till May, 2017.

Balarabe said the promo is another way of promoting saving culture among Nigerians and deepening the financial literacy in the country.

Speaking at the event, the Director-General, National Lottery Regulatory Commission, Adolphus Joe Eke commended the bank for keeping its words and assured that the process of selection was transparent.He said the Bank’s promo was exceptional within the industry so far.

The star prize winner, Salman Musa, while responding, said he opened the account with the bank as a student and now he becomes a millionaire courtesy of the Fidelity Bank Promo.
