Winners emerge as PDP concludes senatorial primaries in Niger

Candidates have emerged from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries conducted for the three senatorial districts in Niger state on Tuesday.

In Niger East senatorial district, Ibrahim Isyaku (SAN) emerged winner after defeating three other aspirants.

Also in Niger South, former House of Representatives member, Alhaji Baba Shehu Agaie, emerged the party’s flag bearer after defeating the former minister of Youth and Sport Development, Alhaji Abdulrahaman Gimba and former PDP Chairman in the state, Alhaji Abdulrahaman Enagy.

Meanwhile, Mohammadu Sani Duba emerged unopposed for the Niger North senatorial district.
