Windstorm destroys houses in Jalingo

Several residential and commercial buildings were destroyed by windstorm in Jalingo, Taraba state capital Wednesday night during a heavy downfall.
Areas worst affected by the  windstorm included part of Sabon Gari, Saminaka, Ambaliya quarters and Waru.
Some of the affected buildings had their roofs blown off while several other buildings collapsed.
Daily Trust found that  though there was no loss of life,   the  material damage ran into millions of Naira.
One of the affected residents at Ambaliya, Mallam Garba Musa told our reporter that his four-bedroom house was completely destroyed.
