Wikki Tourists has been thrown into turmoil following the sudden resignation of its technical adviser, Abdullahi Adamu.
Adamu in a letter personally signed by him said he was resigning due to the management’s interference as well as their inability to take responsibility during league games.
“You may wish to recall that since I assumed duty as Technical Adviser, I have not been accorded the opportunity to fully exercise the functions of the office of Technical Adviser due to management’s interference and inability to take their responsibilities during the league matches, which is public knowledge.
“This action of the management has rendered me helpless thereby affecting the recent performance of the club and also threatening my career.

“Consequently, based on the above-stated reason, I hereby resign my appointment as the technical adviser with immediate effect,” he said.
He was appointed in March after Kabiru Suleiman Dogo resigned in January 2023 and oversaw four games winning just one, losing 2 and drawing one.
He was the club’s chief coach before being promoted to lead the squad out of the relegation zone to lead the club for a second spell.
The young tactician previously worked with Zaria-based Nigeria National League side, Green Beret FC. He also once had a stint with Katsina United as an assistant coach.
In the same vein, Rivers United’s Chief Coach, Fatai Osho has left the NPFL champions with immediate effect.
Osho resigned from his position as the chief coach of the Pride of Rivers following a statement on his official social media page.
“I resign my position as the Chief Coach of Rivers United,” Osho posted on his Facebook page. “Best wishes to the team,” he added.
The former Enyimba boss was appointed by the team two years ago after he also resigned from his position at neighbours, Enyimba.
During his two-year stint as the Chief Coach, the Pride became NPFL champions, won the state FA Cup and reached the quarterfinal of the CAFCC.
