The spokesperson for Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization, Daniel Bwala, has said that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairman in Rivers State and the party’s governorship candidate come from the same zone.
Bwala said the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike’s complaint that the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and the national chairman, Dr Iyorchia Ayu, hail from the north is a reflection of what happened in his state.
In an interview on Channels TV’s Sunrise Daily, Bwala added that “It’s clear Wike pursue his ambition, not what he claims to be equity, fairness and justice.
“I can tell you for example, he (Wike) is an Ikwerre man. He took over from an Ikwerre person, the VC is (from) Ikwerre, the rector is (from) Ikwerre and if you look at even the recruitment process, even the chief judge is an Ikwerre. Who appointed them?

“When we go to the party, he is complaining about the fact that Atiku is from the north and Ayu is from the north but his governorship candidate is from the same senatorial district with the chairman of the party in that state.
“Let me say it again for clarification, the governorship candidate of Rivers and the chairman of the party in Rivers come from the same senatorial district.”
