The bashing and counterbashing between PDP and APC has no end in sight.
With both parties not content to press statements, they have gone online.
Using its handle @apcnigeria, APC tweeted a video showing Rivers governor Nyesom Wike brandishing a machete at a podium while ostensibly bashing APC.
Watch how Governor Wike threatens APC in Rivers State with violence. Shameful this is coming from a Governor. pic.twitter.com/QfUJPBmd90

It wrote: “Watch how Governor Wike threatens APC in Rivers State with violence.”
The rest of the video has Wike saying, “If they don’t stay clear from rivers state, since you have given me this machete, i will not look back. i will just use it and cut all of them.
It is not immediately who he refers to in the video segment.
But he resumed. “Is there any APC again here? Since they don’t like to hear, let them hear now.
“Now our people have given us the go-ahead. i didn’t come with this machete, I came here and they gave it to me. You know the implication of giving me this machete. I should use it a clear all the unwanted.
“All those that know, don’t come close to me because my people have given me the instrument to go to war.”
A PDP handle @PDP_2019 shot back: “That’s a chieftaincy title! Defender of the people. You can misinterpret it all you like.”
