Wike swears in first head of Service, others for FCT, orders directors’ reshuffling

The FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has ordered the reshuffling of directors across Secretariat, Department and Agencies of the FCT Administration with immediate effect.

The move, which takes effect immediately after the swearing in of the pioneer Head of Service, Permanent Secretaries of the FCTA, Chairman and members of the FCT Civil Service Commission, is expected to help enforce efficiency within the system.

Wike, who gave the order during the swearing in ceremony of the officials, advised the directors to accept their new postings in good faith, stating that the exercise will affect all sectors of the FCT Administration.

“Immediately after now, the Head of Service will send out the postings of directors. I have said that there will be total reshuffling in all areas, and I’m going to implement it this afternoon,” he said.”
