Wike presents vehicles to new chiefs

The FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, on Tuesday, presented official vehicles to the newly installed traditional rulers in the territory.

City & Crime earlier reported that Wike, on Thursday, August 1, crowned the newly appointed chiefs of Yaba, Kwali, Karu and Pai chiefdoms under Abaji, Kwali and AMAC area councils.

The Mandate Secretary of the FCT Area Council Service Secretariat, Bitrus Garki, who presented the SUVs to the chiefs on behalf of the minister, said the gesture was to ensure efficiency in discharging their roles.

The chiefs who were presented with the SUVs are the Etsu Kwali, Luka Ayedo Nizasan; Etsu Yaba, Alhaji Yakubu Aliyu Ndastu and Sa’Karuyi of Karu, Joseph Danfulani Narayi.
