President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has said the Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, promoted unity, fairness and equity by ensuring that power shifted to the South at the expiration of President Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure.
Tinubu spoke on Wednesday in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital while inaugurating the Rumuokwuta/ Rumuola Flyover.
He noted that his presence was another way of building bridges in the country.

Tinubu said, “In His Excellency (Nyesom Ezenwo Wike), I see a man of principle. He took a principled stand that the presidency must return to the South and he had the courage to stand by his conviction, not minding whose horse is gored.
“He is indeed a man of great integrity; he did not choose to serve his own interest. Not about him, but rather the interest of the nation. You promoted unity, you promoted fairness, and you championed justice. Thank you!”
