Wife of Akeredolu’s chief of staff abducted

Barely hours after suspected kidnappers shot dead a frontline traditional ruler in Ondo state, Oba Adegoke Israel Adeusi  of Ifon in Ose Local Government Area of the state, the wife of the chief of staff to Governor Akeredolu,   Olugbenga  Ale has been kidnapped.

Mrs Ale was said to have been kidnapped by suspected gunmen at Owena area, near Akure in Ondo State on Thursday night.

The  Police in the state confirmed the story saying they were already searching for her.

Spokesman for the state command ,Mr Tee-Leo Ikoro said the state Commissioner of police, Bolaji Salami has ordered that the victim be found alive.

Ikoro said they are working with other sister agencies including the military and operation Amotekun.

The CP ordered all the police divisions around Owena area to go after the kidnappers with the assistance of the military men, Ikoro said.

Meanwhile, the state governor had gone visiting the family of the Chief of staff.

Also reacting to the killing of Oba Adegoke Israel Adeusi, the state government described it as a sad day for the state.
