Widows, orphans get empowerment gifts at Christmas carol

Several widows and orphans drawn from across the Southern Senatorial zone of Plateau State were at the weekend presented with empowerment machines and other gifts at the annual Christmas carol and widows/orphans outreach held in Tunkus, Mikang local government area of the State.

The occasion which was organised by Mission High School Tunkus in collaboration with Sharon Grace Foundation, featured special presentation of gifts, including grinding machines, clippers, and cash to the widows and orphans at the Christmas carol presentation. 
 
The Management Committee chairman of Mikang, Ezekiel Vuelgap who attended the event, charged youths to shun all vices and embrace education.  He commended Mrs Oniovo Yakubu Dati, the initiator of  the outreach, for bringing smiles to the faces of the less privileged.
