The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has been accused of wrongly listing for interim forfeiture the property of one Aisha Abubakar, MD/CEO Sam’s Engineering Limited as belonging to former Federal Capital Territory Minister and Bauchi state Gov-elect, Bala Mohammed.

Aisha Abubakar, told the Daily Trust, that the property was wrongly mentioned among those of Bala Mohammed, former FCT Minister and listed for temporary forfeiture.

She also lamented that staff of the National Council for Arts and Culture, NCAC pursued her security men away from the site and forcefully gained entry and vandalised her stores where equipment worth millions of Naira were kept.

She said cables worth N30 million that were yet to be installed has been stolen as they have been removed without her knowledge.

She said the plots in question, Plots 2070 and 2071, Cadastral Zone AO2, Wuse Zone 3, near Tamara Guest Inn was listed in error by the anti-graft agency when she was out of the country.

She explained that when she was contacted, she rushed home and met with the former FCT Minister who confirmed that he did not own that property.

She narrated that she contacted the Federal High Court, Abuja presided by Hon. Justice G.O Kolawole to vacate the order of temporary forfeiture on her property, only for staff of National Council of Arts and Culture, NCAC in the company of security operatives forcefully entered her property and took possession.
