The Chairman of the Northern Youth Coalition in Lagos State, Alhaji Ibrahim Ya’u Galadanci, has said that they are satisfied with the manifesto of the presidential candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, because it contains strategies capable of fixing Nigeria’s problem.

Ya’u Galadanci said it is high time Nigerians cast their votes for candidates during the 2023 elections based on their capacity and track records, saying only qualified candidates can save the country from insecurity and high cost of living.

He said, “We the Northern Youth Coalition in Lagos understand the intentions of the presidential candidate of the NNPP, Dr Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, and we are satisfied with his recent address to Nigerians and the world in general.

“What interests us the most in that speech is where he said if God gives him the opportunity to win the 2023 election, he is determined to solve internal security problems in Nigeria and its borders, especially his determination to recruit about one million soldiers, one million policemen and other security personnel who will be screened even from the local government level up to the state level. Doing so is a great achievement for our country and all citizens.

Galadanci called on Nigerians to abandon the idea of political god-fathers in 2023.

He added, “We are calling on Nigerians to abandon the idea of political god-fathers as the 2023 election approaches; political god-fathers have personal interest rather than national one. This is the right time to retire selfish politicians who fold their arms to see us killed. They think Nigeria is their personal inheritance and this is unacceptable.”
