‘Why we want to revisit zoning’

Nwodo, who spoke during an interview with a London-based television station, BenTV observed that the party’s zoning arrangement was never fully followed by some PDP aspirants. He said that the party intends to revisit it with a view to carrying everybody along since it has been operated in breach in the past.

Nwodo, who said that he would not want to be dragged into the rumored ambition of President Goodluck Jonathan, however stated that any member of the party who meets the party and national constitutional requirements would be free to contest.   He promised to provide a level playing field for all party members aspiring to contest for any elective position in the 2011general election.
