Vision Media Services Limited, Abuja, Wednesday explained that some of its staff were disengaged recently owing to indiscipline, fraud and low productivity.
The Chief Operating Officer of the company, Shuaibu Mungadi, explained this in a statement on Wednesday.
The company threatened to sue one Mahadi Shehu for attacking its Kaduna office and launching a campaign of calumny against the company’s chairman on social media platforms.
He noted that like many corporate organisations, Vision Media Services is not immune to industrial issues and disputes, especially with regards to employment contracts, productivity, frauds and other malpractices.
“Our company deploys internal mechanisms in line with our Human Resource rules and regulations, Nigerian Labour Laws without recourse to public opinion or interference.”
He said if dissatisfied with the company, the affected staff could either appeal internally or seek redress at the appropriate quarters.
“It is, therefore, very unfortunate that some of our staff whose contracts were terminated due to issues bothering on indiscipline, mismanagement, fraud and low productivity chose to elicit sympathy from the public rather than show remorse.
“We are equally glad that Mahdi Shehu did not indict us for any unethical or illegal conducts in the process of obtaining such favours done to us.
“We are not the first and we certainly would not be the last to receive such gestures.”
