The newest satellite pay-TV service in Nigeria, Kwese TV, has said it pioneered flexible payment options to give Nigerians total control to access pay TV services.

Kwese TV’s General Manager, Lizzie Amkpa, who said this Monday when she led some top officials of the company on a courtesy visit to Daily Trust Corporate headquarters in Abuja, said the new pay TV Company would offer services to Nigerians at more affordable prices, and at their convenience.

Other members of Kwese delegation include: Dare Kafar, the Head of Marketing; Efe Obiomah, the Head of Public Relations and Saliu Aliu, Head of Customer Experience.

“ We pioneered flexible payments with 3-days, 7-days and 30-days subscription plans to give consumers total control over their pay TV. Regardless of the subscription, consumer gets access to all the channels. We just launched on the 19th of October, 2017, and we have brought to the market an entertainment and sport bouquet of over 70 quality and compelling channels of news, sports, series and movies, music, kids and religious programming”, Mrs. Amkpa said.

According to her, the company is also offering a multi-platform and multi-screen offering premised on the concept of TV anywhere and everywhere.

She said the multi-platform service allows subscribers to take control of their programming by accessing Kwese TV across multiple devices.

  Also speaking Kafar said the company also offer free zone which allows the subscribers to continue to enjoy free access to five channels after their subscription expires.

He also disclosed that Kwesé Free Sports has secured the exclusive right air today’s international friendly match between Nigeria and Argentina at Krasnodar, Russia.

He said the Nigerian versus Argentina match which kicks-off at 5.30pm local time is exclusive to the free-to-air (FTA) TV channel, Kwesé Free Sports.

The Kwesé Free Sports TV channel which holds exclusive FTA rights for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia for sub-Saharan Africa, excluding South Africa, will bring this international friendly to its audience for free. 

With the free-to-air (FTA) TV channel only available on analogue TV (UHF 32) in Lagos and digital terrestrial TV (Free TV channel 32) in Abuja and Jos, Kwesé Free Sports has partnered with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) to air the match on its network. The deal with NTA expands the Kwesé Free Sports channel reach to all 36 states of the federation.
