‘Why we demolished ex-deputy gov, others’ property in Benin’

The Edo State government has said the demolition of the property of a former deputy governor, Dr Pius Odubu, and others was to recover government’s property in possession of private individuals.

A statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Osarodion Ogie, and made available to journalists, said the exercise was to evict illegal occupants of government property.
