Why road crashes are reducing – FRSC

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says Federal Government’s huge investment in road infrastructure and huge visibility on highways have contributed to the reduction in road traffic crashes in the country.

The FRSC Corps Marshal, Dauda Biu, said this during a news conference on the commemoration of 2023 World Day of Remembrance of Road Traffic Crash Victims on Monday in Abuja.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the event is a day set aside in November in memorial of victims of RTCs and to sympathise with their families and loved ones.

Biu said that the event was a global one that aimed to remember the millions of citizens of the world killed and individuals injured in RTCs across the globe.
