Executive Secretary, National Youth Service Corps Foundation, Ventim Bako, says the NYSC Trust Fund is needed to provide orientation camp facilities and start-up capital for corps members with entrepreneurial skills.
Addressing a press conference in Abuja Wednesday, he said the Fund, when established, would be used to complement the efforts of the governments in funding the scheme.

He said with the rising number of graduates been churned out, the government would soon find it difficult to sustain funding.
Bako said the Foundation had partnered with the NYSC in building camp facilities and giving soft loans to ex-corps members as startup capital for their businesses.
He appealed that the Foundation be included in the composition of the Board of the Trust Fund.
