Inaugurating the state joint committee on drug abuse, he said his administration is working hard to tackle the menace.
Kwankwaso in a statement by his Director of Press and Public Relations, Mallam Halilu Ibrahim Dantiye, said his administration will not spare traffickers, distributors or vendors of illicit and counterfeit drugs.

He said the committee has been mandated to search motor parks and other suspected areas to fish out drug peddlers and users.

The committee comprises;  police, SSS, Civil Defence, Immigration Service, traditional rulers, NDLEA and Hisba board officials,
