The Senator-elect for Kaduna Central, Malam Uba Sani has said Governor Nasir El-Rufai was reelected as governor of Kaduna State because he stood with the masses.
Sani, who has been elected senator, described the return of Governor Nasir El-rufai in the Saturday’s election as a victory for the masses.
The Senator-elect said that his joy at the electoral victory of El-rufai and the peaceful conduct of the polls was quantifiable.
He hailed the people of Kaduna, who thronged voting centers across the State on February 23, for “overwhelmingly re-electing President Muhammadu Buhari for another four years.”
He also acknowledged the support of the people for electing him to represent Kaduna Central Zone in the National Assembly.
“I remember having said that I would delay my celebration as Senator-elect until our indefatigable Governor and the architect of the accelerated reworking of modern day Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El- Rufai got re-elected by our good people.
“Today, I can truly celebrate for my joy is now complete with the affirmation by INEC of the huge votes you gave Mallam Nasir El-Rufai to re-elect him the Governor of our beloved State of Kaduna”, Uba Sani said.
