Programme Manager, Partners West Africa Nigeria, Henry Anoliefo, has urged that the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA) be implemented across all law enforcement agencies to ensure proper dispensation of justice.
He made the call in Abuja on Tuesday at the final release of findings from the court observation and validation workshop on the practitioners’ survey to identify the level of awareness and implementation of the Act.
He said from findings released concerning bails, arrest, confessional statements, among others, very few agencies had done what the law said should be done.
Anoliefo suggested that courts be digitalized for speedy dispensation of justice.
