Why I’m supporting Buhari – Obasanjo’s son

President of Buhari Youth Organisation (BYO) and the son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Olujonwo, says since politics is not a war or battle, he has every right to support the re-election bid of President Muhammadu Buhari as against his father’s choice of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

Olujonwo said this on Wednesday in Abuja while fielding questions from journalists on the activities of his group during a press conference held at the National Secretariat of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

“I believe I’m here as an individual, youth and someone who believes that this government is for the youth and future generation.”

“This government is leading us towards economic diversification as this nation is blessed with vast resources. I believe in this government as an individual and I’m supporting Mr President. I can’t speak on behalf of my father.”

“When you get to certain stage and point in your life, you can choose your path. My father remains my father despite different political ideologies.”
