Meet Zyool, the artiste promoting Hausa language in Saudi Arabia

Muhammad Zyool is a Saudi-born Nigerian international film actor, rapper and a song producer based in Saudi Arabia. Known for his multilingual ability in the usage of Hausa, Arabic and English languages in his works, Zyool has become a strong promoter of the Hausa language in Saudi Arabia.

Though born and brought up in Saudi Arabia, the young talented artiste has been at the forefront of promoting Hausa language in most of his song videos. To put more emphasis on his solo move in promoting Hausa language, the artiste also named his musical studio in Saudi Arabia ‘Hausa Mecca City Studio’.

The young artiste revealed that he is obsessed with making sure that Nigerians are not underrated anywhere. “I was born here in Saudi Arabia and I have my recording studio here which I named ‘Hausa Mecca City Studio’. This is to show you that I am proud to be a Hausa man and a Nigerian. My pride is to see that Nigerians are respected anywhere they are. I sing in many languages, especially Arabic, but Hausa is my language and I am proud to be associated with it,” he said.

Recently, the artiste awarded a female fan in Saudi Arabia for being an ardent supporter of his work. The lucky lady named Maimuna Musa entered a Tik-Tok challenge with his portrait and it was only Maimuna that got a response from him in the challenge.

Zyool has done a lot of musical videos as well as collaboration with a Nigerian-born Hausa rapper Nomies G called ‘Arab Money’ among others.

Muhammed Zyool has established himself as an artiste with the zeal to promote his mother tongue despite being born and raised in Saudi Arabia.
