Why I’m in race for Anambra gov’ship – Ex-AMAC chair

A former chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma), said he has joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest the party’s governorship ticket for Anambra State, win the election and link the state to the centre for development.

He spoke yesterday while declaring his intention to contest the Anambra governorship election on the platform of the APC at his Osumenyi country home in Nnewi South Local Government Area of the state.

Daily Trust reports that Anambra State is currently run by Governor Charles Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). Another election will be held in the state this year.
