Former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has said that the bill for the establishment of the Federal College of Aviation Technology, Ilara Remo was to complement the efforts of the government in the state.

The former governor, the bill’s sponsor, highlights its focus on crucial courses like Aircraft Design, Navigation Systems and UAVs.
He spoke with newsmen on the sideline of the installation of Chief Suarau Bankole as the Apena Egbaland.

Daniel said the bill, which had gone through second reading at the upper chamber, had a mandate to deliver courses on Aircraft Design and Construction, Navigation and Communication Systems, Flight Management Systems, Engine Technology, Safety Systems, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), among others.
