Nkoyo made the confession when the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Alhassan Aminu, paraded her alongside 29 other suspects allegedly involved in other crimes in the state.
“I have so far sold two of my children. I was paid N150,000 for each. It was due to hardship. Besides, I was lured into the crime,” she said.
One Archibong Osuko, who is now at large, was alleged to have introduced Nkoyo and trafficked her and her three children.
The three children, including Mmayen Samuel and David, were sold to one Anorika who is also at large.
The Commissioner of Police said the State Criminal Investigation Department carried out intelligence policing and arrested one Ugochukwu Stephen and rescued the victims unhurt.
He said a discreet investigation is ongoing while all suspects will soon be arraigned in court.
The commissioner said the 30 suspects were picked up within the last one month.
