A former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, on Tuesday, said he has no plan to return to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as it is widely reported.
Fani-Kayode, in a statement on his Twitter handle, said his meeting with the APC leadership on Monday in Abuja, was to discuss the “state of the nation, national issues, party politics and the way forward.”

He added that the meeting was aimed at building bridges, joining hands across political divides and regional lines to save Nigeria from what he termed drift to civil war.
“Despite our differences, as leaders and statesmen, we must all sheath our swords and ensure that we never go down that path. May God help our country and may He guide us all,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Director-General of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), Salihu Mohammed Lukman, has asked leaders of the APC not to admit Fani-Kayode into the party.
Salihu in a statement on Tuesday said: “For our leaders to associate themselves with Mr. Fani-Kayode, is simply rewarding scandalous behaviour.”
