A chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi state, Engr. Joshua Titus Sanga, says he deserves to represent the people of Toro Constituency at the national assembly in order to bring the much-desired federal government’s projects that his constituency was lacking since the advent of democracy in 1999.
Engr. Sanga made the statement during his visit to Daily Trust’s office in Jos, Plateau state on Wednesday.
Sanga who had Msc in Civil Engineering Management from the University of Wolverhampton, England is vying for House of Representatives’ seat under the platform of PDP, after purchasing an expression of interest and nomination forms.
The 47-year old Engineer said that his mission if elected would be to contribute to making Nigeria an infrastructural and industrial-focused nation by creating jobs and self-employment opportunities for the country’s teaming unemployed youth for the overall development of the country.
He said, “Some of my achievements even before I become a member included, I awarded scholarship from N5,000 to N30,000 to over 300 students of my constituency. I empowered over 100 less privileged people with N7,500 each and I trained about 500 youth on skills acquisition, among other things.”
